The Spicy Chick-n-Strips are basically the chain’s original chicken strips combined with the Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

The spicy strips are part of the chain’s expansion for more spicy menu options.

The Spicy Chick-n-Strips’ sales performance will determine if the menu item goes national.

Amanda Norris, the executive director of Chick-fil-A’s menu, thinks the taste for spicy items is a trend. However, she doesn’t see it going anywhere.

She says customers may expect more spicy items on the Chick-fil-A menu in the future.

When it comes to rolling out new menu items in the chain restaurant, it can take about 18 to 24 months for the item to go from an idea to the storefront.

I’m thinking these spicy strips will be a success–or at least they better be! I’d like to see these new spicy items make it to the deep south where we love all things spicy.
