ColaKicks brings sneaker culture to the Midlands

Did you know that you can buy, sell or trade your favorite kicks at ColaKicks?!

What started as a hobby has turned into a career. University of South Carolina graduates, Adam Patrick and Josh Kilgore, went from buying and trading shoes for fun in highs school and undergrad to becoming full-time business owners before graduating.

ColaKicks is a unique buy, sell, and trade sneaker store. The store originally opened in September of 2017 on Rosewood in Columbia, SC and has grown into a larger location in Five Points.
Customers can come to shop or bring their kicks in for cash or store credit… hence the “buy, sell, trade” business model.

The store has anything from Jordan, Nikes Foamposite and Nike Airmax shoes to Yeezy’s, OffWhite’s and Adidas Boosts. Authenticity at ColaKicks is guaranteed and they are founded on the principle of offering the best possible prices on all their items.
ColaKicks also offers deep cleans for sneakers that need to be refreshed.

Adam grew up playing sports and says that his passion for sports and music, specifically hip hop, ultimately fueled his love of sneaker culture. His personal favorites are the Jordan Cool Grey 11s and the Jordan Bred 1s.

“I think Columbia needed it.” says Kilgore. “We’re bringing a way to get shoes that are sold out in the stores… that you physically can’t get in the mall anymore. We’re giving people another option to get those at a lower price.”
