For the second time in four years, anglers from across the nation will converge on Lake Murray for the Fishing League Worldwide’s Forrest Wood Cup. The world’s bass fishing championship is August 11-13 with the $300,000 top prize up for grabs.
This year’s championship tournament will feature 53 of the best anglers from across five FLW tournament circuits.
Lake Murray last hosted the Forrest Wood Cup back in 2014. Prosperity native Anthony Gagliardi took home the $500,000 grand prize.
The final weigh-in is Sunday, August 13 at Colonial Life Arena. Country music star Easton Corbin will play a free concert at the weigh-in stage at 4 p.m when a champion will be awarded. Everyone is welcome.
