Did you know that the biggest whiskey show in the United States happens in Columbia?! The 6th annual Great American Whiskey Fair is on Thursday, October 18th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
In 701 Whaley’s Grand Hall, you can participate in the largest whiskey tasting in the country. Since 2013, this one-of-a-kind fair has featured more than 100 distilleries and 500 different kinds of Whiskey.
A host of distilling luminaries, small producers, bartenders and enthusiasts will be in attendance.
The US Bartenders Guild of Columbia will be presenting cocktails featuring different whiskeys during the 6th Annual Cocktail Challenge. Food will be provided by Columbia’s whiskey-centric restaurant, Bourbon. Bourbon and the incoming Black Rooster at Brookland are owned by the creator of the festival, Kristian Niemi.
