The 4th of July is a wonderful time for getting together with family and friends to enjoy patriotic celebrations and festivities. If you are planning to celebrate in the Midlands's, whether at the lake, or on Fort Jackson, or simply enjoying a long summer holiday weekend getaway, here are some great Fourth of July events to add to your fun.

Lake Murray - Saturday July 1st

Lake Murray’s 4th of July celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 1st and will begin with the annual boat parade at Noon and end with a spectacular firework show at dark. Fireworks will launch from two lake locations, Dreher Island and Spence Island.

Lake Murray Symphone Orchestra - July 3rd

The LMSO will be offering a spactacular Star Spangled Salute with a full evening of patriotic music.

The concert, free with admission to the hosting Saluda Shoals Park, starts at 8:30 p.m. and lasts until 9:30 p.m. Call 731-5208 for more information.

Red, White & Boom Rock Hill - July 3rd

MONDAY, JULY 3rd, 5:30 pm

Come celebrate Independence Day in Old Town with live music, food, drinks, fireworks, and plenty of fun for the whole family!
