Holiday magic arrives in the form of festive cups, seasonal drinks at Starbucks

Deck the halls! Trim the tree! Grab the mistletoe and your favorite cozy Starbucks drink- the holiday season is upon us. This season, Starbucks stores are celebrating the spirit of yesteryear with a modern twist.

“We started this season by looking to the past,” Starbucks spokesperson Kristy Cameron said.

The highly anticipated holiday cups show classic Christmas designs inspired by warm fires, treetops, and ribbons.

One new seasonal cup is inspired by the top of a tree.

Starting Nov. 2,  seasonal flavors are back including Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Eggnog Latte.

The Christmas Blend will also be back in Starbucks stores for another holiday season.

Something that’s even more magical than delicious beverages is a free gift. Who could always use a new mug?

Customers who order a holiday beverage on Nov. 2 will receive a free, limited-edition reusable red cup, while supplies last. Customers who bring their reusable holiday cup to a participating Starbucks company-owned or licensed store in the U.S. or Canada after 2 p.m. Nov. 3 to Jan. 7 will get $0.50 off their handcrafted grande (16-ounce) holiday beverage.

There are also plenty of new snacks to get your grub on.

New holiday food to savor this season includes Chocolate Swirl Brioche, a buttery brioche layered with a dark “fudgy” chocolate filling, Pistachio Honey Croissant, and the Sugarplum Cheese Danish, made with buttery croissant dough topped with creamy cheese filling and plum spread.
