Looking for something to do with the kids?! Visit the South Carolina State Museum today!
Kids and families throughout the Midlands and from the coast are being evacuated for Hurricane Florence. In support of South Carolina families and out-of-school kids 12 and under, the museum is offering FREE admission.
The South Carolina State Museum will be open Thursday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum provides a safe and fun environment for families to spend time together while in the Midlands.
The Boeing Observatory and all four floors of the museum are included with general admission. BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Planetarium and The Rev. Dr. Solomon Jackson Jr. 4D Theater will be open and will be running normal shows including Ice Age: No Time For Nuts 4D and National Parks Adventure. The Planetarium and 4D Theater will require an additional fee.
