Lake Murray Independence Day Fireworks Display
Get ready for the 30th Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration on Lake Murray.
The fireworks this year will be the largest display yet and will take place at dusk on Saturday, June 30th from Dreher Island State Park and Spence Island. In honor of our 30th anniversary, the fireworks show will be 30 minutes long this year. Viewers of the fireworks show will be able to tune in their radios for music that will be synced to the fireworks extravaganza. The participating radio stations are listed below.

Fireworks begin at dusk
Tune into 106.7 FM or 98.5 FM for music synced to the fireworks
View the fireworks from Dreher Island State Park ($2 for adults, $1.25 for seniors, Children 15 years old or younger are free. Gates close at 8 PM to allow emergency vehicle access.), by boat near Dreher Island and Spence Island or on land at the parks on either end of the Lake Murray Dam. Lake Murray Dam park sites charge $3 per car $2 for motorcycles and $5 for busses. The Dam’s walking paths will also be open to view the fireworks.
No alcohol is permitted at these viewing sites.
Lexington County Blowfish Baseball and Fireworks!
Gates open at 6 PM and the game starts at 7:05.
This is our first two for one deal on the list. Catch the Lexington County Blowfish on July 3rd and/or July 4th at the Lexington County Baseball Stadium at 747 Ball Park Rd. in Lexington Tickets to the games are between $6 and $9 and both games will end with a fireworks display.
On Tuesday the Blowfish will face off against the Thomasville Hitoms and Wednesday they will play the Florence Redwolves.
Lexington County Peach Festival's 60th Anniversary
Celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Lexington County Peach Festival this July 4th in Gilbert, SC. There will be 3 stages featuring live performances by Tokyo Joe, Brandon Bailey, Black Bottom Biscuits, Cody Webb, Carter Lybrand and more. There’s a whole lot going on at this years Lexington County Peach Festival. Check out their website for the full list of events but the fireworks will start at 10 PM!
Columbia Fireflies Vs. Greenville Drive Baseball and Fireworks
Our second baseball game of this Independence Day celebration week, the Columbia Fireflies play the Greenville Drive at Spirit Communications Park. The Game starts at 6:05 followed by a 4th of July fireworks display. Ticket prices range from $5 to $10.
Newberry Co. Sheriff's Department Fireworks Display
The Newberry County Sheriff’s office invites all to their annual 4th of July Fireworks Show at Newberry High School. The evening begins with kids’ inflatables and goodies from food trucks around the Newberry High School football field. Once dusk has settled the community gathers to sing the National Anthem and watch the fireworks light up the summer night sky.
