Prepare yourselves, burger lovers: Steak ‘N’ Shake is coming to Columbia

Columbia is a competitive burger town, but it’s about to be even more competitive.

Steak ‘N’ Shake, who hasn’t been in the Capital City since the Harbison restaurant closed its doors several years ago, is coming back and parking a new location off Killian Road.

According to Colliers International, the Indianapolis-based burger and milkshake mecca will open a new restaurant at Killian’s Crossing.

Killian’s Crossing already features a Kroger, Panera Bread, McDonald’s, Firehouse Subs, POSH Nail Salon, Chick-fil-a, Founders Federal Credit Union, Applebee’s, Panda Express, Hardee’s, Freddy’s Steakburgers, Salsarita’s, Tropical Smootie Cafe, Tokyo Grill, Pacific Dental Services, The Joint Chiropractic and Supercuts.

No word on when the restaurant will open.
