You have to try the Tea Pot Restaurant’s Pork Dumplings at this Year’s Columbia International Festival!

Ms. Sophia Chen, owner of the Tea Pot Restaurant in Cayce, shows us how she makes her traditional Chinese pork dumplings.

Take it from us, these dumplings are delicious! Ms. Chen will be bringing her dumplings and a few more delicious Chinese treats to this year’s Columbia International Food Festival. Go ahead and give them a try for yourself. When you fall in love, Ms. Chen was kind enough to share her recipe with us so you can make them yourself.

Dumpling Skin:
Mix 1 Lb. all purpose flour with one egg and 1/2 Cup water until a uniform dough consistency is reached.

Pork Filling:
1 Lb. Pork
1/2 Lb. Chinese Napa Cabbage
2 Tablespoons Chopped Green Onion
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1 Pinch of Black Pepper
2 Drops Sesame Oil
2 Pcs. Fresh Garlic Clove

Ms. Chen also instructed us to make the individual dumpling wraps about the size of your palm and thicker in the center so that they will not tear when folded.
