West Columbia Riverfront to add Craft Brewery in 2020

West Columbia residents will be welcoming a brewery to their riverfront in 2020!

According to a press release from the City of West Columbia, “The City of West Columbia is excited to announce the sale of the property for the future Savage Craft Ale Works in West Columbia’s River District area.”

The new brewery is slated to open in late Spring 2020 at 430 Center Street, which is currently home to the old Brookland Fire Station/City Hall building.  The addition Savage Craft Ale Works is part of the larger goal from West Columbia’s “Art Park” revitalization project.

West Columbia Mayor Bobby Horton said in a statement in the press release, “This is a hallmark day in the continued redevelopment of the State and Meeting Street area. It will provide another quality entity in the continued growth in the River District.”
Savage Craft Ale Works is a South Carolina brewery, taproom, and beer garden in planning.
