We took a little road trip about an hour outside of Columbia to visit the Outlaws, Johnny and Minnie Outlaw that is, and their Antioch Community Center
Local farm owner, Johnny Outlaw attended Antioch Elementary School as a child.
He probably never thought he would have the opportunity to purchase his old school and re-purpose it for the good of the community.
Today Johnny and Minnie Outlaw have turned the old Antioch Elementary School into the Antioch Community Center, a place where Kershaw County locals can gather on the weekends for food, music, a flea market, and live auctions.
The Antioch Community Center is a great place to visit, you can grab a delicious burger from the Whistle Stop Cafe, browse the flea market, catch a country gospel concert, or watch as all manner of items are sold at auction.
Also coming up, Mr. Outlaw is hosting his first Outlaw Championship Rodeo September 30th and October 1st.
