We have some bad news, PW fans living in Harbison – your neighborhood Chili’s has closed. But we do have some good news – there are other locations in the Midlands area that has your baby back rib needs already settled.
The location, located at 280 Harbison Blvd., served its last slab of ribs and Southwestern egg rolls on April 22. In a message posted on the door the inability to renew the lease in that location forced the closure after 25 years, according to Landon Ledford, the marketing director for Hielan Group, the owners of the Chili’s locations in the Midlands area.
The letter says:
Dear Friends of Chili’s Harbison,
Regretfully, after 25 years of operating at 280 Harbison Blvd. in Columbia, SC, this Chili’s location closed for good after our dinner service on Sunday, April 22. We could not come to a new lease agreement with our landlord, so we will instead be focusing resources at our other 4 other Chili’s in the Columbia-wide area. Our team was informed early last week, and many of those ChiliHeads you have come to know will be transferring to our other locations.
We are very grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years, and rest assured that great things are happening at Chili’s, including our 10-year anniversary celebration right up the road in Lexington this weekend, April 26-April 29. You can expect Happy Hour pricing all weekend, $5 Presidente ‘Ritas, and we are raffling off $50 Chili’s gift cards.
We hope that one of our other Chili’s restaurants will become your next home – and please make plans to join us in Lexington this weekend and often afterward!
Thank you again for your support!
Your Chili’s team
But, as mentioned, there are four other locations for you to choose from. The other locations are: Spring Valley on Two Notch Road, Lexington on Ginny Lane, Camden on Springdale Drive, and Sumter on Broad Street.
